Canon 6D II Announced
Sat, Jul 8, 2017Releasing July 27th, the new full-frame camera from Canon improves over the original in several ways.
Here are the specs:
- 26.2 Megapixel Full-frame CMOS Sensor.
- Optical Viewfinder with a 45-point All Cross-type AF System.
- Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Phase-detection & Full HD 60p.
- Vary-angle Touch Screen, 3.0-inch LCD.
- DIGIC 7 Image Processor, ISO 100-40000
- Built-in Wi-Fi®, NFC, Bluetooth® and GPS Capability
- High-speed Continuous Shooting at up to 6.5 fps
- Dust- & Water-resistant
That’s even higher resolution from the sensor, a faster processor, and better autofocus. Dust and water resistance is a nice addition to the full-frame camera. 6.5 fps is 2 more than the previous model. While that might make folks wonder about taking some of the thunder from the 5D series, you’ll find a variety of responses looking at those specs and wondering why Canon didn’t add 4K video support.
